Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team as a Software Engineer specializing in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Go. This expert-level, remote role focuses on AI model training through hands-on code review, performance optimization, and security best practices. Collaborate with a global community of accomplished engineers and contribute to elevating code quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough code reviews and pull request (PR) evaluations, ensuring adherence to best practices and code quality standards.
2. Identify, debug, and resolve complex software issues across Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Go codebases.
3. Implement, review, and refine CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery and automate testing.
4. Champion security best practices and performance optimization in all engineering outputs.
5. Collaborate with team members via GitHub, providing actionable, constructive feedback and mentorship.
6. Document review findings and technical insights clearly in both written and verbal formats.
7. Engage in continuous learning and AI model training initiatives aimed at enhancing development workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, specifically with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Go.
2. Demonstrated expertise in code review, including lead reviewer or maintainer responsibilities for open-source or production codebases.
3. Proficiency with GitHub workflows and advanced PR evaluation in real-world projects.
4. Strong debugging skills and experience identifying and resolving software issues.
5. Deep understanding of code quality standards, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
6. Experience with building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
7. Outstanding communication skills—both written and verbal—and fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Prior experience training or developing AI/ML systems.
2. Contributor or maintainer in active open-source projects.
3. Located in US/CAN, LATAM, or UK regions.
