What you’ll do Author, review, and annotate technical tasks used to evaluate AI model performance on sociology problems. Tasks involve producing original problem sets grounded in demographic charts, social network diagrams, and survey output; writing reference solutions; and applying structured quality checks.
Who we’re looking for
- PhD in Sociology, or MA in Sociology with 3+ yrs research, policy, or teaching experience, or BA in Sociology with 5+ yrs applied research, policy, or teaching experience
- Working fluency in at least two of: social theory, stratification, demography, qualitative methods, quantitative methods
- Comfortable reading and interpreting demographic charts, social network diagrams, and survey output
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form
Compensation Starting rate $60/hr. Strong contributors have the opportunity to be promoted based on task quality and throughput.
Commitment Part-time, ~20 hrs/week, flexible schedule. Fully remote. Hourly.

Contract and Payment Terms
