What you’ll do Author, review, and annotate technical tasks used to evaluate AI model performance on energy and power systems problems. Tasks involve producing original problem sets grounded in one-line diagrams, load curves, generation profiles, and power electronics schematics; writing reference solutions; and applying structured quality checks.
Who we’re looking for
- PhD in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Energy Engineering, or MS with 3+ years of utility, grid, or power electronics experience, or BS in EE or Energy Engineering with 5+ years of applied power systems, renewables, or generation experience
- Working fluency in at least two of: power flow, machines and drives, renewables integration, grid operations, or power electronics
- Comfortable reading single-line diagrams, PQ/VI curves, and generation/load profiles
- Utility, ISO/RTO, or renewables industry experience is a plus and accelerates promotion
Compensation Starting rate $82/hr. Strong contributors have the opportunity to be promoted based on task quality and throughput.
Commitment Part-time, ~20 hrs/week, flexible schedule. Fully remote. Hourly.

Contract and Payment Terms
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
